Case Manager – Homeless Shelter
Location: South Los Angeles, CA
LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a client in South Los Angeles to find a dedicated Case Manager to support individuals experiencing homelessness. This role plays a key part in helping shelter residents access critical resources, secure stable housing, and work toward self-sufficiency.
Responsibilities:Work directly with shelter residents to develop individualized service plans focused on housing stability, employment, and healthcare access
Conduct intake assessments and provide referrals to supportive services, including mental health, substance abuse treatment, and job training programs
Assist clients with housing applications, benefits enrollment, and other essential documentation
Collaborate with social service agencies, healthcare providers, and landlords to coordinate resources and advocate for client needs
Maintain accurate case notes and ensure compliance with program guidelines
Facilitate life skills workshops and other group sessions to support clients’ personal development
Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed
Experience in case management, homeless services, or social work
Strong knowledge of housing programs, benefits enrollment, and community resources
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing a caseload
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
