Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and motivated  Inspector to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will hold an ICC B2 Commercial Building Inspector certification and/or Firestop Inspection certification , and bring experience inspecting construction projects at educational institutions. ICC Special Inspections experience is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site inspections of commercial building construction projects, with a focus on educational facilities.
• Document code compliance, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
• Conduct firestop inspections and special inspections in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes.
• Prepare clear, concise, and timely inspection reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and AHJs to resolve inspection issues.

Qualifications:

• ICC B2 Commercial Building Inspector certification (required) .
• Firestop Inspector certification (preferred) .
• Experience performing inspections on K-12 or higher education construction projects.
• ICC Special Inspections certifications such as Reinforced Concrete, Structural Steel, or Soils (preferred) .
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
