Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 (based on experience)

Join a premier real estate developer and general contractor specializing in high-end residential projects throughout New York City. We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager with experience in ground-up residential construction to support the successful execution of multiple development projects from design through completion.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on some of NYC's most dynamic residential projects, gaining hands-on experience in all facets of development and construction.
What You'll Do:As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing project execution and ensuring alignment with design, schedule, and budget objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring design completeness, code compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
Coordinating design clarifications with architects and engineers.
Assisting with the management of the full project lifecycle, including:
Pre-construction planning and design coordination
Engineering reviews and approvals
Contract negotiations and procurement
Daily site coordination and project monitoring
Budgeting, financing, and bank requisitions
Punch list resolution and final Certificate of Occupancy process
Supporting the preparation and tracking of project budgets and capital expenditure reports.
Maintaining project schedules and timelines.
Coordinating with subcontractors, consultants, and ownership groups.
Securing all necessary permits and licenses.
Conducting post-construction evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement.
2-3 years of experience in ground-up residential construction (luxury, market-rate, or affordable housing).
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Master's degree a plus.
NYC or NJ project experience required .
Strong understanding of construction processes, permitting, codes, budgeting, estimating, and scheduling.
Excellent communication, organization, and team collaboration skills.
Self-starter with a proactive approach and attention to detail.
