Job Description

The HT Group is seeking an experienced Contestable Claims Examiner with a background in final expense life insurance claims, specifically within the contestability period. This role is responsible for validating claims through in-depth investigations, thorough document review, and the application of policy provisions and regulatory guidelines to determine eligibility.

Position: Full time, Direct Hire
Location: Remote

Key Qualifications:
5+ yrs experience managing final expense claims within the contestability period
Proven experience handling complex life insurance claims, particularly contestable final expense cases.
Skilled in working with third-party vendors for medical record retrieval and investigative support.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear and accurate documentation.
Demonstrated investigative and analytical capabilities.
