Job Title: Senior Domain Architect

Location: Plano, TX (On-site 3+ days/week)

Employment Type: Contract to Hire (6 months)

Role Overview

BEPC is actively seeking a skilled Senior Domain Architect to support a strategic digital transformation initiative. This role is critical in steering architectural and technology decisions across domain-specific applications. Candidates should have deep technical expertise, proven leadership, and hands-on experience with modern cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and scalable enterprise solutions.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business capability maps, establish technical roadmaps, and uphold architectural standards. This role requires both strategic foresight and practical execution, including participation in hands-on system design and architecture governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural strategy and domain technology decisions.
• Create and maintain business capability maps and domain technology roadmaps.
• Collaborate with solution architects to design scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
• Drive system design discussions and hands-on technical assessments.
• Participate in cross-domain architectural forums and initiatives.
• Provide oversight for high- and low-level design documentation.
• Capture key decisions, risks, and stakeholder consensus throughout the design process.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT with progressive roles in system and solution architecture.
• Expertise in distributed systems, microservices, real-time data streaming, and secure application frameworks.
• Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native design principles.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and modern development methodologies (Agile, PSB).
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Contract Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: 6 months from start with potential to convert to FTE
• Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid; 3+ days on-site required)
• Interview Process:

1. 45-minute virtual interview via MS Teams
2. In-person technical interview (3 one-on-one sessions, 45 minutes each)
