Job Description

Our client, is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Recruiter focused exclusively on sourcing and placing clinical professionals (nurses, physicians, allied health staff, etc.) for major hospital organizations. Previous Staffing Agency Experience Required . This role covers the full recruitment life cycle from proactively sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and managing offer processes with no sales or business development responsibilities. A deep understanding of hospital operations and clinical roles is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and attract healthcare professionals through online job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, and referrals. Target experienced clinical staff suited for hospital roles and build talent pools for critical openings.
  • Conduct thorough phone or video interviews to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, experience, and fit for specific clinical roles. Verify credentials, licensure, and references to ensure compliance with hospital requirements.
  • Manage and maintain candidate records using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Update candidate statuses, schedule follow-ups, and ensure that all applicant data is accurate, organized, and up-to-date.
  • Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with hiring managers. Prepare candidates by providing detailed information about the facility, role expectations, and interview process, ensuring they are well-informed and confident.
  • Facilitate the job offer process by gathering candidates’ salary requirements, extending formal offers, and negotiating start dates and compensation (within established guidelines). Work closely with candidates to address any questions and guide them through the acceptance paperwork.
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with healthcare candidates. Provide ongoing communication and support, offering feedback and guidance throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hospital openings.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Staffing Agency Experience Required: 3+ years of Healthcare recruiting experience placing healthcare professionals (nurses, physicians, allied health) specifically in hospital or clinical settings.
