Job Title: Front Desk Agent

Location: USC Hotel, 3540 S Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90007

Pay Rate: $21.50

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent (3-4 months temp, with potential for permanent hire)

Hours: 40 hours/week – Must have open availability, including weekends

Client: University of Southern California

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel front desk service
• Open availability, including weekends
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
• Familiarity with PBX systems and standard phone etiquette
• Knowledge of check-in/check-out procedures and guest services

Responsibilities:

• Greet all guests upon arrival and ensure a fast, efficient check-in process
• Verify guests’ identification, credit, and payment
• Assign room keys, complete registration cards, and accommodate special requests
• Maintain accurate guest and room information
• Coordinate maintenance and repair requests
• Follow credit, check-cashing, and cash handling policies
• Perform cashier responsibilities including billing, invoicing, and currency exchange
• Answer and route incoming calls using PBX console professionally
• Handle messages, mail, and packages with proper procedures
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the guest stay
