Are you a mechanically minded problem-solver with a passion for innovation in food processing equipment? Join the team as a Project Engineer and take the lead on custom, capital equipment projects from concept through commissioning.

About the Role:

As a Project Engineer, you’ll be the technical backbone of our large-scale food processing equipment projects. You'll work cross-functionally with sales, project management, and service teams, acting as the primary technical liaison for our customers. You’ll drive design efforts using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, spec components, and ensure every project meets exacting standards.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role with visibility across the full equipment lifecycle—from drafting and risk assessment to fabrication support and on-site troubleshooting. Occasional travel and overtime may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead 3D modeling in Autodesk Inventor and create technical drawings in AutoCAD 2D.
• Interpret customer specifications and internal standards to define project scope.
• Collaborate with Application Engineers on layouts and quoting.
• Specify and size mechanical, powertrain, and fluid flow components.
• Conduct and document risk assessments.
• Monitor drawing schedules and fabrication timelines.
• Provide technical support during fabrication and field installation.
• Travel occasionally to customer sites for meetings or equipment commissioning.

What We’re Looking For:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or B.S. in Food Engineering.
• 4–7 years of CAD experience, including 3D modeling and drafting.
• Strong grasp of DFM principles; FEA experience is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with mechanical and systems engineering knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
• Piping design experience is a bonus.
