Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Manchester, NH team on a part-time basis (Monday through Wednesday). This role is in close collaboration with our Medical Director and interdisciplinary Medical Team to ensure high-quality, client-centered psychiatric care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations for new clients and support the development of individualized treatment plans in partnership with the clinical team.
  • Complete comprehensive psychiatric and medical assessments.
  • Diagnose and provide ongoing care for clients with psychiatric disorders.
  • Provide medication management for both newly prescribed clients and those continuing existing prescriptions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests as needed.
  • Coordinate care by consulting with a multidisciplinary team and making referrals when appropriate.
  • Manage medications related to both psychiatric conditions and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
  • Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and overall mental health wellness.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's Degree in Nursing, with a Psychiatric concentration.
  • 2+ years of medical treatment for those with Substance Use Disorder (preferred)
  • PMHNP-BC.
  • Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems.
  • Adherence of licensure and accreditation standards.
  • Experience with dual diagnosis and substance abuse treatment preferred.
