Job Summary Ascot’s IT Transformation Team seeks a motivated Quality Assurance Manager reporting to the VP, US Transformation Office. The role involves building and leading the testing function at Ascot and is based in-office with a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities Plan and execute project/release testing activities. Prioritize tasks based on business needs. Manage capacity planning, task allocation, tracking, and reporting. Handle stakeholder management, risks, issues, and project decisions. Lead transformation testing efforts across programs. Coordinate underwriting and rating initiatives with business and technical teams. Engage with high-level stakeholders to steer testing efforts for new systems. Lead project meetings, workshops, and cross-functional collaboration. Manage various testing components including automation and performance testing. Develop and execute test strategies for new platforms. Ensure clear communication of testing results and project status. Contribute to organizational quality initiatives. Collaborate with global teams to deliver projects successfully. Follow escalation processes for risks/issues and ensure timely stakeholder updates. Build relationships across the organization for open communication. Assist with additional projects as needed. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Minimum 8 years’ QA management experience in Insurance, with at least 6 years in Commercial or Specialty insurance. Experience with SDLCs and Agile methodologies. Positive, self-motivated, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Customer-centric mindset. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Leadership experience in testing efforts and stakeholder coordination. Proficient in Microsoft Office and testing tools. ***Position level may vary based on experience.*** Compensation Base salary ranges from $145,000 to $150,000, with potential variations based on experience and skills.
