Under the direct supervision of the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety and security protocols, event security and parking procedures to ensure the well-being and protection of our employees, visitors, and assets. Responsibilities include supervising all in-house contracted security personnel including training new hires, supervising event security activities to ensure the highest level of security, promoting customer service and positive public relations, developing and implementing safety and security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, serving as liaison with public safety regulatory agencies, handling high priority or emergency tasks, conducting regular safety and security audits, maintaining physical safety and security systems, collaborating with department managers to develop safety training programs, maintaining safety and security documentation, monitoring security systems and responding to issues, investigating and reporting incidents, ensuring staff safety, working with parking and security staff on policies, addressing customer service issues, maintaining employee badge system, staying updated on industry best practices, coordinating with event managers for safety plans, overseeing event security logistics, attending planning and facility meetings, working extended/irregular hours as needed, promoting ASM Global goals, participating in safety programs, assisting with projects and special assignments, and performing other duties as required. Qualifications include a high school diploma or BA degree preferred, minimum 3 years of experience in safety and security, experience in audits, risk assessments, investigations, facility management, and event planning, ability to handle confidential information, respond to emergencies, strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, ability to multitask and work independently or in a team, and proficiency with MS Office and willingness to learn new technology. Physical demands include ability to work indoors and outdoors, stand or walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs. No certifications required.
