St. Luke Parish, Brookfield, a community of about 500 households is looking for a part-time Bookkeeper/Business Manager.
About the Role
The bookkeeper assures development and maintenance of financial bookkeeping system for the parish. Specifically, the bookkeeper is responsible for computing, classifying and recording financial transitions that are accurate and in compliance with Archdiocesan guidelines. Specific responsibilities include processing payroll, accounts payable, petty cash, contributions, monthly reports, and assisting with budgeting process for the parish. Qualifications
Business Degree or Accounting Certification preferred. Trustworthy and reliable with a high attention to detail and respect for confidentiality; availability of one evening a month to attend meetings. Understanding of parish life and archdiocesan policies, procedures and systems. Working knowledge in MS Office products and QuickBooks.
