An international chemical manufacturing company in Leonia, NJ is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Japanese/English Interpreter/translator to join their team to support the management team.

Responsibilities:
•\tProvide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation during high-level meetings involving the President, CFO, and VP-level executives.
•\tSupport the President with accurate and timely interpretation in both formal and informal settings.
•\tTranslate business and financial documents to ensure clear communication across languages.
•\tMaintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive executive communications and discussions.
•\tTravel domestically and internationally (~20%) to accompany the President and provide interpretation services as needed.
•\tCollaborate closely with executive staff to understand and convey nuanced business and financial terminology.
•\tAttend daily onsite meetings in Teaneck, with flexibility to adjust schedule based on the President’s travel and interpreter needs.

Requirements:
•\tProven experience as an interpreter/translator, ideally in a corporate or executive environment.
•\tStrong understanding of business and financial terminology and concepts.
•\tAbility to perform both simultaneous and consecutive interpretation with high accuracy.
•\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
•\tHigh level of discretion and confidentiality when working with executive-level information.
•\tWillingness and ability to travel internationally and domestically (~20%).

Salary Range: $70,000 – $75,000 with various benefits
